1. Charge the wireless fountain fully via USB before first use; a full charge lasts days with no cords near the drinking area.
2. Wash the fountain tank, lid and filter, fit the filter and secure the lid, then fill with clean water to the 2L max line.
3. Choose a fountain mode: Sensor (dispenses when your pet is detected), Timer (every 60 minutes), or Standard (twice every 30 minutes).
4. Set up the automatic feeder on a flat, stable surface and fill the 4.5L hopper with dry food.
5. Program the feeder with your pet's portion size and meal times, then confirm the schedule.
